I went out searching for someone to be a blessing to today which I said I would begin to do. I went for a walk believing that the Lord would direct my steps. Some time passed and I hadn't found anyone yet because the specific instructions given to were to find someone with a look of complete dispair on on there face.
As the walk was coming to an end and finally I saw her. A lady with a blanket over a basket in a chair resting as if she were in class and the teacher was unbearably boring outside a smoke shop. I started to walk past her because she seemed to be sleep and I'm not one to disturb the people. The Lord had me do just that because he operates outside of your comfort zone.
We began to speak and I don't remember her name but she also had a notebook I was curious and asked about which she then revealed that she was doing some studying. Hesitant to tell me at first but with a little pressure she revealed that she was studying trust and how to rest in Gods word and unchanging hand. Now this hit home for me because trust in him is also something God has been calling to a higher level for me at this present point in my life. That was my confirmation that I was hearing the voice of the Lord, and who doesn't love a little reassurance.
I want to encourage you to read Matthew 9:18-37 where there are examples of faith in the time of desperation and supernatural works following after. God shows us his generosity all throughout the Bible and many of these times he does not move until an act of faith and desperation. The Lord says that the harvest is plenty but the laborers are few. His word also say that the wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous.
It's no secret that there is a 1% of wealth holders who are inspired if not dedicated to do evil deeds, hoarding wealth and creating systems to keep the ppl of the land oppressed. We are living in times of innovative technologies and it has never been more simple to build streams of income that don't require intensive labor. Many hands make light work so therefore let's unite together in faith to build a new world where financial stress is obsolete and the environment encourages growth believing, trusting, and knowing that it will happen.
